Hi!

Here are the steps to procure external services:

1. Create maintenance order. IW31

2. Enter equipment, planning plant, priority etc

3. Enter operations,

4. Enter external operation and change the control key of operation from PM01 to PM03,

5. Enter the purchase group and material gruop if system asks,

6. Select the operation and click on external button at the botton of screen,

7. A new screen will appear, here you may enter the service code, quantity, gross price and cost element,

8. Then come back to main screen of order and save it.

9. Maintenance order will be saved with a number,

10. Again go to IW32

11. Release order ans a PR will trigger. This is service PR.

For Purchase group, material group contact MM consultant,

For cost element contact CO Consultant.

yk,

There isn't any standard config steps required to use the external services functionality..

All you need to do is find an existing Operation Control Key which has the Service flag checked e.g. PM03 or SM03

Use control key PM03 in operations in the Order and mainatin all relevant purchasing data for the same.Maintain the services .

On REL of order this will generate a PR and PO . Perform the services and do service entry acceptance.

Refer SAP help and search in forum for help.

Thanks
