Accrual Engine

I am trying to define a layout for Accrual Objects, in order to define the screen layout for creating, changing and displaying accrual objects. (IMG: Financial Accounting->Financial Accounting Global Settings->Accrual Engine->Basic Settings->Technical Settings->Accrual Objects->Define Layout for Accrual Objects).

According to u201CIMG activity documentationu201D of this point, u201CIf you want to add a user-defined field to your layout variant, you must have assigned this to an accrual object category.u201D.

I have assigned several fields to one of my own accrual object category. But I can select them when I define my own layout for Accrual Object. They donu2019t appear as possible values.

Have you ever done something similar? How did you do it?
