Hi experts

Hi,

One of my client has a zip file in its inbox. Whenever he tries to open it he is getting the following error message

223,385 bytes transmitted, code page 0000

Also I am getting the the same error when I am trying to open a zip attachment thrugh CV02n.

    Hi,

    could you please check in transaction DC30 under 'Define workstation application in network' which paramter value is maintained for the used workstation application? And further please check in the main details screen of the workstation application in DC30 if the value 'zip' is entered in the field 'Suffix'.

    Hi Ritesh,

    We encountered an issue along similar lines sometime back. We reinstalled SAP GUI and voila!!! It worked. Do try this out at your end and let know if it helps.

    Hi,

    If it's not opening in CV02n also means your mime type is not configured properly. In DC30 ,kindly configure the mime type for zip files properly and then revert.

    Hey Christoph thanks for the reply. My user is facing this problem when he is trying to open the zip file from his SAP inboox and Portal.

      Hi Ritesh,

      As suggested kindly define the mime types with suffix properly in DC30.

      Second thing install the software for .zip on individuals desktop who are facing this problem.

      I hope this will resolve the query.
