Hi,
I am on PI 7.1
It is my understanding that CTS too is finally a file transport.
Where do I find the export/import directory for the objects on the server system?
Cheers,
Earlence

No. It is not. CTS transport is similar to ECC transports. Check SE09 after export in your PI Dev system.

HI,
i don't think so about your opinion.your can find there are two methods for your transport.(CTS+ and file system).
when you use filesystem ,you can find your export and import object in the filesystem /sapmnt/tSID/global/xi/repository_server or /sapmnt/tSID/global/xi/directory_server
if you transport object use file system ,you should upload your object from your source system filesystem(above export directory )to your target system filesystem( import directory),then do import manual in your target ESR(IR) or ID.
