Academic Calendar Error - Message No. HRPIQ00ACCOUNTING885

Hello Everyone,

We are getting an error of 'Enter the start and end dates of time limit for 2010, 002' (message no: HRPIQ00ACCOUNTING885) while creating a 0100 time limit for the session 002 - 002 is our spring semester. I checked all of the IMG configuration related to academic calendar but could not find out why. At last I tried to create a new calendar. I created 0100 time limit for session 001 (fall semester) without any problem. Then I wanted to create 0100 time limit for session 002 (spring semester) and I am getting this error. In every calendar in the system, we cannot update any info or create a new time limit related to 2010 - 002 (spring) semester. We are getting this error only for 002 semester of academic year 2010. Did anybody face a similar situation before? ... or any ideas?

Edit: I am getting this error now in everywhere. I think I am doing something in the wrong order.

Best Regards,

Kerem

Hi Kerem,

do you have that period assigned to a Due Date Schedule? In that case, have you checked that the end and start date of that period for Student Accounting Purposes is defined at: IMG --> SLCM >Student Accounting>Basic Settings>Fee Calculation Periods>Maintain Fee Calculation Periods?

Maybe that solves your problem.

Hi Diego,

Actually we were having the problem even while creating a new academic calendar. We debugged the academic calendar when saving changes and we realized that academic calendar was trying to add an additional new 0100 time limit for the 001 semester of the related academic year - although there were a 0100 time limit for that academic year. We solved the problem by implementing notes 0001450491 and 0001436295. The notes were not exactly related to our problem but it is solved.

But thanks anyway

Best Regards,

Kerem

Kerem,

Did you maintain the start & end date for the timelimit 0100 (and if applicable also for 0200 and 0300)? These elements (begda and enda on CA-object part of infotype Timelimits 1750) are mandatory for all of the mentioned timelimits. If there is one of the TL not filled in your whole academic calender then the system generates the HRPIQ00ACCOUNTING885 message.

Good to read that your issue is already solved :).

Rob,

Yes. I wanted to change some time limits in an existing academic calendar and it was interesting that I was still getting that error , although all the time limits you mentioned were maintained. As I mentioned in the previous message, while debugging, the system was trying to add another time limit of 0100 (for example) and that time limit actually existed in the academic calendar. We solved the problem but I wish I knew the exact reason of the problem

Best Regards,

Kerem
