Hello Experts,
if I have a part which is not according to spezification but still usable under limited conditions, so it is not UAI and not SCRAP. Whow does SAP handle those parts ?
Thanks in advance
Jörg
Dear,
You can do this with batch managment. Batch has a usage status Restricted or Un restricted.
For every batch In Transaction MSC2N You can change the radio button from unrestricted to restricted.
For that you need to active the batch status OMCT Batch status management and plant with batch status management tick mark.
Use batch management chareistics while creating MIC, Use this MIC in creating material specification. This link will enusre that while entering the quality results it will fill batch char also.
To transfer results to batch, you need to create batch characterstic and assign to batch class. Also assign same characterstics to Master Inspection characterstic. Once you complete result recording and usage decision, results will be transfered to batch.
Material specification check box in material master defines, how do you want to inspect inspection lot. (with specification or inspection plan).
