Dears,
Is there any option in SAP B1 to reflect transportation cost for items transferred between warehouses?
We have a scenario where items are transferred between warehouses (Inventory Transfers) but what about transportation cost? It is not reflected in the item costs in the "To" warehouse.
Is there any solution to reflect the transportation cost while doing the inventory transfers? as the landed cost does not work for inventory transfers and doing item revaluation every time an inventory transfer is created is alot of work. Is ther any other workaorund?
Regards,
you can use sales delivery with out sales order from one warehouse and receive in other warehouse by goods receipt po without purchase order with cost on delivery in this way you can use landed cost also.

Hi
I think you have two options:
- do the transfer with the price cost, and then make an inventory revalution for these items.
- do the transfer with the price cost, and then make another transfer to increase the stock cost with the transportation cost.
Kind regards
Agustín

Hi Agustin,
Thank you!
Is there a workaround in case they don't know the transportation cost on spot? as sometimes they receive transportation cost (Supplier Invoice) after couple of days.

Hi
you can create a new price list with the new cost (item cost + transportation cost), and when you make the transfer select this price list.
Try to do in a test enviroment.
Kind regards
Agustín
