create PO without Material Master

yes it is possible. Just enter a description in ME21N

yes u can create PO w/O material master by using following steps.

1.In me21n, Select account assignment category like cost centre in Item .

2. Enter short description

3. enter order unit, quantity, material group.

4. In item details, enter G/L account & cost center.
