Cannot change from Batch controlled to no batch controlled when there is no stock and no batches

I am trying to change an item from batch to no batch controlled. There is no stock and no committed and available stock either. Also there are no batches available. Still I can't change it to no batch control and still get the message that there is stock. Though when I check in the inventory tab of the item master all warehouses have 0 stock for on hand, available, and committed.

Any suggestions?

I beleive if you have transactions for batches of this you cannot remove batch feature because in batched system maintain cost of item according to batch also. you can inactive this item and create new item with same name and without batch feature

Hello Peter - also check the following:

Do you have Consignation??? Go to Item Master and on Inventory Tab open the Form Settings and look for "Consignment". If you have a value there, you must clear that also.

Do you have any AR/AP + Down Payment documents open???
