MSS general_info page is very slow

Hi,

Our portal performs well, but when we navigate to the MSS gneral info page (com.sap.pct.erp.mss.general_information) it takes about 20 seconds before it shows something.

Traces show very little activity on html and abap side.

Could there be a performance issue on this webdypro java portalpage?

Has anyone seen this before?

Any help will be appriciated.

Its possible a JAVA performance issue - check all other iviews, applications and products and overall J2EE performance on a technical level - also a possibility is network between users, Portal and ECC back-end - performs PINGs and check at off peak user periods

If issue is specific to MSS - check number of employees, org units under manager control, number of columns or data being displayed or retrieved - how the iview was added to the role, how many iviews are configured to start on this page etc

how many employees are returned in this page? Also did you take trace using St12 for HTTP and verify where time is spent
