Custom Alert in SAP PO

Hi There,

Ddo we have a way to create a custom alert like the one which we could do from ABAP stack by calling the standard FM SALRT_CREATE_LOCAL.

we are migrating from PI 7.0 to PO 7.4 where we have an interface which is having some validation and sending a custom alert using the FM how can we replace the same in this new PO system?

Hi,

The custom alert is possible using the job AlertConsumerJobV2, the default job AlertConsumerJob is used only for standard alert. Please check the Note 2088606. Please also make sure that you are on SP 09 or above.

Thanks Harish, but this will give an additional parameters to enhance with the email alert template my requirement is to send the validation result from an udf to this mail alert rule or how some how to create a custom alert rule and send it via udf , is that possible ? any other approach.
