Hi,
We define the levels of WBS elements in project coding mask. As per SAP standard maximum length of project coding mask is 24 characters. Suppose I have to define all possible levels (i.e. 99) of WBS elements in project coding mask, then what is method for defining the 99 levels of WBS elements.
Thanks & regards,
Pradip Shelke.
First I request you put some meaningful name in your id, so person can relate. Your question is logical but Please tell in which T code you have defined level in Mask. (Also you are on which version ) Levels you cannot define explicitly in coding mask.

There is not any other menthod of defining coding mask. If I understood correctly, you are saying that your coidng mask is or 24 Character across SAP and how can you set up / define implicit coding mask so, that in system you can create 99 level of WBS Element ?
Yes coding mask is 24 caharater and we cannot extend it in any circumstances becaseu it affect all SAP tables, but I am not sure how to achieve 99 levels of WBS Elements. Let us wait someone to comment on it.( Interesting )

Hi Nitin,
Yes... I know that we can not extend the characaters of coding mask more than 24.
I have just given the example of 99 levels.....But with only 24 characters I do not think we can create more than 10-15 levels.
But from one side SAP is saying that we can create maximum 99 levels, then what is method to create it.
I know due to performance reason no one is going beyond 5-10 levels; Even we are using maximum 6 levels over here.
But if we are coming across situation where client demand more levels then what we should suppose to do ???
Thanks & Regards,
Pradip Shelke
