CRM Marketing Attributes Update existing value

Hi,

We have a requirement to update an existing attribute value of a CRM Business Partner.

eg: The attribute FIELD_AREA_UOM value of attribute set BP_GENERAL_ATTR needs to be overwritten with value CTZ from its original value HOL.

We are using CRM_MKTBP_CHANGE_BP. It is not changing the attribute if a value exists in it. Please let me know if there is a parameter that controls the existing value being overwritten.
