document not archived due to external tax calculation

Dear Experts,

I am trying to archive contents of BSAK table for vendor. While writing the archive file, I get an error " Tax on document still being calculated by external software". The client is using "Vertex" as an external system for tax calculation. please suggest. Thanks in advance

Please check SAP note 383151 "Archiving of FI documents not possible". It describes exactly your problem.

Symptom:

FI documents cannot be archived. In transaction SARA (Archive Management) for object FI_DOCUMNT the messages
"Tax on document still being calculated by external software."
OR
"Document not yet in external tax system."
appear in the spool list.
