L_TO_CONFIRM quantity error

Hello experts,

We have a problem when confirming transfer orders. This happened when HU are not generated in base unit quantity of the material. When confirming a TO order, SAP calculates the quantity to be transferred to be 0. For example, an HU in KG and when transferring 0.5G, SAP calculates the amount to be transferred 0 KG. We have the following error message Packing not possible since there is no quantity to be packed”. This problem has been solved in transaction LT12 when implementing OSS NOTE 1223815. However, the OSS note doesn’t seem to be working this FM “L_TO_CONFIRM”.

Is there another OSS note to implement or another function module we can use?

Hello Shabir,

please make sure that you define the base unit of measure as the smallest one to avoid such an issue like this one. For more information please read notes 5555 and 8818.
