Porcess chain triggering from the middle?

Hi,

We have identified a portion of our process chain that is relevant and needs to be executed. Is it possible to start from a selective portion of the process chain? As i understand we can only start from a failed process or the start process, cant trigger it from anywhere else. let me know if there is a possibility to start from the middle.

Thanks in advance,

Zeeshan.

Hi Zeesan,

We can start further from the failed step in a process chain after resolving the error.

We do not need to restart the whole process chain from the first step.

It should be possible for you to restart from the middle of the PC.

You may please check the error of the failed step, see that the error is resolved and then re-execute the step.

Process chain willl proceed further.

I hope this helps you.

Please check and confirm.

Hey Datta sahab,

Good to hear from you again.

I actually want to start the chain from any step (not just a failed step) in the middle of the chain. Is that possible?

Hi Zeshan,

Once a process chain is executed successfully, its status is like a successful completed background job with many steps.

You will have o copy a process chain to a new one with the required number of processes (say from the middle of the original proess chain with a new start prcess variant ofcourse ).

You then activate and scehdule suitably.

.

The original PC can be repeat executed from the process step of termination.

I hope this helps you.

Please confirm.

Hey Zeeshan ,

You can copy the process chain under new name Remove the unwanted steps and start the process chain.
