Error of cost component structure

Hi,

We have created a cost component structure & also has activated the same.What we have observed that if we keep the status of cost component structure as active, we are not able to see the costing in the process orders.If we keep it non active we are able to see cost in process order but system throws error when we run CK11N.

Can somebody suggest us the way out here

Hi,

Its not about any error message. If we keep the Cost component structure active we are able to see the cost component structure in CK11N properly but at the same time in the individual process order the costs for activities comes as ZERO.

If we keep Cost component structure as inactive the indovidual process orders shows the cost but we get error in the CK11N

that "Cost componet structure is inactive". This is the problem we are facing right now.

Did you confirmed your process order till now? If not please activate your cost comp structure and confirm your process order, after that you will be able to see the cost,

Thanks for reply...but the process order should show the planned cost without confirming also.This is the problem we are facing right now.If the Cost component structure is active we are able to see the planned cost in CK11N but not in the process order.Whereas if we keep it inactive we are able to see the planned cost in Process order but then CK11N throws the error that "cost component structure is inactive".

We have had considerable trouble if the cost component structre is inactive - month end does not process correctly.

I would go back and carefully review the costing variant configuraton for you planned and actual order cost. The cost component structure should be assigned to them.
