Running Instance Details

Hi Experts,

Is it possible to read the "Recurring" Instance details and modify the same.

Lets say for example there is a Publi.

And is scheduled for every day running on completion of which certain users receive mail, this scenario goes file. But now the users have become dynamic and are updated into the SAP table every night. Is it possible to change the old receipents to new one using .Net code. If yes then request your guidence.

Also would like to know where these type of details are stored in BO I mean which table for eg. CI_InfoObjects.

Many thanks for (re-) introducing me to the "Rules of Engagementu201D and sorry for improper re-presentation.

Scenario.

When we schedule the webi / publication / crystal report in the a recurring instance gets generated and can be viewed in History. While scheduling these reports we can specify the mail ids of the recipients.

Question: Can we read this "Recurring Instance" details via. .Net program and modify the same on daily basis before it gets executed. If yes please guide.

My Environment Information

1. .Net 2

2. BO version 3.1

Note:

Questions have been just re-phrased. And my second question was an extension to my existing question that "Where are these details stored in BO database" this would ease forum management. Having said this I rest my case.

Fly-by modifications of a recurring instance isn't something tested.

It's recommended to reschedule.

The data is stored as blobs, the format of which isn't public.

Hi Ted,

I am glad to update you that I was successfully able to change the parameters I wanted.

But a word of caution or call it a bug in BO SDK, that we are able to change it only once or twice, while chainging it second or third time I starts giving error that I cannot assing the values.

hence it sems SAP .Net SDK will require more time to get balanced.
