On a Network, we are looking to generate a purchase requisition for items we release together. For example, if we have 10 external processing operations and we release 3 operations at the same time, we want those 3 operations to have the same purchase requisition number (example: 10000010). Now if we go release letu2019s say two more operations together then those two operations should be assigned the same purchase requisition number (example: 10000080).
Any ideas on how this can be handled?
Thanks
Mark,You requirements can be met, if you are on ECC6.0 with EHP3.
You will have to mention indicators for collective PR at project definition level and you will have to assign these indicators to the ext processing activities. Activities bearing same indicators will be grouped under single PR. for eg., you define two indicators say PR1, PR2 at project definition level. assign PR1 indicator to ext activities say E1,E2,E3 and PR2 to E4,E5. when you release project two PR's will be generated 1st PR will contain E1,E2,E3 and another 2nd PR will contain E4,E5.

Different PR under same network is possible....What i meant at 'Project Defintion level' is? You will have to define indicators for collective PR's. These indicators are different for each project and it will be defined during course of the project, so there are no config required for this....First you will have to define those indicators, this can be done at project definition level only and not at network level. but different PR under same network is possible via this functionality.
Check OPUV( Network Type) Collective PR can handle your requirement partially.
