Leave without pay calculation

Dear all,

I am getting problem in TM, three senarios are there:

When employee is:

1) In service - Whenever an emp takes leave (LOP) his basic salary would be decreases by this formula:

Total Basic/ Total no. of days in months * Absence days

2) Termination time - If an emp has resigned or terminated from service and has taken leave (LOP), than all wages type applicable to the emp would be deducted by the ratio (formula) same as in case above.

3) Joining time - If an emp is newly joined he has taken leave (LOP), then same rule will be apply as on termination time with the formula given in 1st point.

Kindly provide me the steps or table where I can define this, I also new to this TM module so if any schema would be suggested please provide me detail information for doing it.

Regards,

Neeta

Hi Neeta,

Another thing, also you need to maintain the respective Absence (LOP) as unpaid in the Payroll configuration, called Absence Valuation node.

Hi Neeta,

For these scenarios, you need to do Factoring Processing Class configuration.

You have to maintain Processing Class 10 for all the Wage Types you want to reduce when employee takes LOP Leave, or Joining in the mid of the month, or terminated in the mid of the month.

Table V_512W_D

Processing Class 10, Specification 1

You need to maintain for all the Wage types you want to reduce in this scenario.

Then the PCRs XPPF, XPP0, XPP1, XVAL will work in the background and reduce the amounts accordingly.

You need not do any changes for the PCRs.
