SAP Document Center in Marketing Cloud - folderstructure

Hello Experts,

we have integrated SAP Document Center in SAP Marketing Cloud.

https://help.sap.com/viewer/9775a1fb912c487b961bd59cd6179c3a/1805.500/en-US/ce17e696d97242f1ac7c1dec...

I have done all the settings and the image upload in the Content Studio of Marketing Cloud works.

All images are automatically saved now in the this folder which got generated by the system.
In SAP Document Center I have now generated a folder structure with the Marketing Areas:

Now the users should have the possibilites to save the there images in this folder when doing an image upload in SAP MC content studio:

Unfortunately it is not possible to find the folders now.

Can anyone help me on that?

Hello Christof,

In the content studio, the drop down reflects the 'CMS/DAM name' for the upload option.

We do not currently support reading the nested folders and showing the list of folders for the upload. There is one to one mapping for the Folder and the Communication Arrangement. For your use case there would be a need for one more CA on the second folder to get the option on the upload dialog.

Thanks n Regards,

Hello suprita.bangera,

thank you very much for your feedback.
In our opinion building a folder structure would make sense. Do you maybe know if this requirement will come in the future?

Hello Christof,

I understand your requirement to an extent, but to clarify, are you looking at Marketing Area separation and corresponding authorisation for the content stored in SAP Document Center? So far, such marketing area separation isn't supported yet.

as a workaround, to achieve separation of content by marketing area, you could think about creating multiple Communication Arrangements, connecting to same SAP document center, but different folders (set to shareable, and password length set to 0). In this way, when users tries to upload content, these folders shall be selectable in the upload pop-up of Content Studio.

do let us know, how it works.

Hello prasad.kg,

thank you very much for your answer.

No, it is not necessary to make a marketing area seperation. It is just an idea how we maybe structure in the future. The folders can also be named "SAPMC_2018", "SAPMC_2019" .... That does not matter.

For that I tried to create different folders in der SAP Document center settings. e.g. as in the picture above "FMKT_001", "FMKT_002",...

Now I tried to go in the Content Studio and have not been able to see the created folders.
Maybe I am missing a setting in the SAP Document center?

That is what I have made in SAP Marketing Cloud - communication arrangements:
