Partial centralized.

Hi

We have partially centralized secnario. The preventive Maintenance is both centrally and locally planned but executed locally.

Have any body come across this?

Hello Manish,

This can be done easily by making the Different Planner groups for task list named Local and Central.

At the other hand u just create the workcenters at the local level with the same name.

If there is any other complexity then Let me know.

SAP doesn't have a Master PM functionality like maximo.

Hi Naveen

The situation is Task list is to be defined centrally for each planning plant, but maintaing/changing the task list for each plant can be huge manual task.

Is there a std way that we change the one task list and all other get changed based on changes.

Hello Manish,

Yes it is true that of u will have to maintain it for each Planning plant level and also there is no other way for the automatic update

But i can suggest u one thing (rather i dont know ur business scenario) dont make different planning plants just create a single centered planning plant and assign the other plants as a maintenance plant in your configuration settings.

The planning can be handled as by using the planer group field in the Task list.

Hi Naveen

You are right, but other than Preventive all other Maintenance scenarios are locally planned and executed. With different planning plant I have more flexibility in config.

I tried with Std text in CA10, using the Std text in task list operations. But the task list doesn't seem to get refreshed with updated std text.

Has anybody tried using std text in task list?

As i am in 4.5 B, not sure what will be the behaviour in ECC6.

Hi Manish,

I request you to check the standard setting on maintenance order main screen.

Extra -> Settings -> Default Values , click on default values here a dialogue box will pop up. There will 5 tabs, click on control tab then check all the check boxes on task list transfer. Here you can control whether you want to transfer work center from task list or not.

Moreover, the executor of different plants can set their main. work center as default. At the time of task list transfer system will ask which work center do you want to assign.

Please revert for any clarification

Hi Vaibhav

I am not assigning the task list to order manually. It will be through Maintenance plan.

The issue is: How to avoid the maintenance of several task list for each planning plant for the same type of equipment (Like compressor) as we wnat to standardise the Prevetive Maintenance.

As task list cann't be without planning plant. I used std text for this, to maintain the std text centrally. But task list doen't doesn't seem to get refreshed with updated Std text.

Can anybody check the behaviour of ECC6 on this.
