Hi,

I am creating a new movement type by coping existing movement type 913-GI Consgmt.block .

In OMJJ, I put From=101 to =913/execute, then I select 913 mvt and click on copy as F6. I am able to change mvt number to 915 but not able to change the description from GI Consgmt block to GI for order. Your promt response will be higly appriciated.

thank you very much..........

Hi,

we have a cusomt mvt 930 which was created by consultant at the go live time. I want to find out which stanadard mvt he copied. As you said, if i look reverse-follow on mvt it shows these two rows, but it doesn't tell which standard mvt was copied.

930-SS Reversal(Details) 931 2

930-ST Reversal 931 2

Also, when i am creating a new mvt do i need to make any changes to fields inside these two tabs "Update control WM movement" & "Account grouping"? I really appriciate your help....

It's not easy to get this information. You can get some idea if you check T156-BUSTR for the movement types in question. Don't forget: lots of movement types have the same BUSTR, e.g. 201, 251 or 261 have all 201 as BUSTR. At least it can give you some direction.

Regarding "Update control WM movement" & "Account grouping". I'd suggest open up a new thread where we can extensivly discuss the topic. I guess you want to make changes in the fields grayed out. Without going into details here: those fields are stored in system tables, i.e. every change is considered as a modification to the SAP standard and you loose our support immediately. As I said, open a new thread. You can ping me if I wouldn't get back to you in the thread, details in my business card. We can discuss then the topic in the forum.

Cheers

Dear Laurarice,

Go to OMJJ, enter your movement type & then select reversal/follow-on movement types. There you view the customize movement type & std movement which has been copied. TQ

Thank you so much both of your instruction. Very helpful.

How to find out which movement type was copied for an existing custome mvt? Is there a way to find out?

Thanks,....

in OMJJ after copying all dependent entries click on short text and here input SPRAS language EN and Movement type 915 and change the description as required.
