Problems with SapJCO in Business Objects Integration for SAP Solutions

Former Member

In an environment we have a separate SAP Web Application Server 7.0 and would like to turn the web applications in this environment. Testing environments migrated using wdeploy I found that the access to "Authentication" >> "SAP">> "Role Import" is showing the following

Error:

"Com / sap / mw / JCO / JCO $ Function", I found the note 1274700, but it did not say how to JCO installation in an environment other than Tomcat.

I wonder how to go about installing JCO on a SAP Web Application Server 7.0.

I use the guide xi31_sp2_bip_sap_install page 54.

Fabiano Rosa

Hi,

you basically have to ensure the files from the Java Connector are available as part of the shared libraries / common libraries of your web application server.

Ingo, I knwo about this procedure, but I need a step-by-step in NW 7.0, for example, where I have to copy the files in NW installation!

The files need to be in your classpath from the app server.
