Deletion of PA03

would like to know if any one had experience deleting payroll area control record in production environment.

what are the consequences and problem it can create in clusters.

For technical point of view, there is no impact to payroll cluster or causing any changes in the system.

However, you do have to exercise caution in production environment. It may allow users to retraoctively change the data during the period of time the control record does not exist.

What are the reasons you need to change the control record?

Hi Aman,

If you delete a Control record it will not have impact on the existing payroll clusters. The Payroll control record controls the payroll rns and Offcycle payrolls.
