Hi gurus,
I have a query regarding the transport of modified webtemplate.
There are certain web templates already in production, now i would like to make a change to these web templates in developement and would like to transport across the system landscape.
while transporting the template should I collect the query elements again or is it OK if i select only web template in the transport connection.
Regards
Prasad
HI,
Trnasport only web-templates if not doing any changes in underlying queries. And dont forget to restart the java engine ones transport is complete, some times web-template transport comes into effect after restarting the java engine.

Just transport the template - you should be fine.

Hi Prasad,
In case you are not doing any modification to the underlying query (in query designer) you need not collect these queries along with your web template.
And in case if you are doing any modifications in query designer along with the web template modifications in WAD, then yes you should collect those queries as well in your Transport.
