C298 - master recipe deletion error

hi experts ,

while trying to delete a master recipe in C298 , i am getting following message , the recipe doesnt get deleted:

Task list 5........4 01 (type 5.......4) is still used in inspection lot.

the material has a inprocess inspection lot which has above mentioned group in specification of inspection lot.

the status is LKD LTCA UD ..

is the inprocess inspection lot the reason for the above message ?

if yes than do i need to archive or delete the inprocess inspection lot from the system so that above error wont come?

please guide.
