downloading and installing a support pack

Hi,

I was wondering how I can download and install BI support pack 11 GUI 15?

I need a bit more detail as I am a newbie..... do I know if my system is connected to solman?

Hi David,

Do you have your Satellite system configured in SMSY? Are you getting EWA reports generated under transaction DSWP for this satellite system in question? If so, then you are connected to SOLMAN. You can also do RFC testing via either transaction SMSY or SM59 or SDCCN within SOLMAN or the Satellite system.

Hello,

To know if your satellite system (for example PRD) is connected to Solution Manager , you can go to SMSY, search for PRD until you are in node 'PRD' under 'systems', then check the RFCs under tab 'clients'.

If your BI system is connected to your SolMan, go to tx DSWP, open the maintenance optimizer and start a new maintenance transaction. SPS will be calculated automatically
