we use the Outlook-Add In to replicate accounts and contacts from C4C to Outlook. Is it somehow possible to only synchronize contacts and not accounts from C4C to Outlook?

what you describe refers to the integration from Outlook to C4C. However, our questions refers to the integration from C4C to Outlook where people only want to synchronize contacts but not accounts.
Furthermore we use client site integration and not server side integration.
