maxdb database startup error

Hi,

When iam starting sap iam getting database instance startup failed.

when i cheked with command : dbmcli -d GTV -u control,pwd then db state is admin.

when i changed the state to : db_online im getting error :Err -24988 ERR_SQL :SQL ERROR -104 DBM Command impossible at this time 20013 Admin Admin command cannot enter critical state "backup".

guide me for the same.

Are you currently running a backup in admin mode?

What do you see when you enter

x_cons GTV sh ac 1

Thanks,i took the back up in admin mode after that its successfully started the data base.
