Dear Experts,
I have an issue not getting email notification for Communication Channel error status when notification are configured for Red Alerts Only. But when configured for Yellow and Red I am getting email notifications, this is not convenient as many emails coming with notification for inactive channels.
Alerts for CC in error status are visible in Process Integration Monitoring for configured PI domain.
I repeated configuration three or four time with no success.
Any hint, please.

Hi Michal,
Generally you need to activate Alerting for a Monitoring Object. You need to check the checkbox 'Alerting Active' which we find in the 'Further Settings' tab.
Could you please check on this. (At present I do not have access to a system to send screenshot)

Thank you for your help.
I am afraid that my description was not clear.
For testing purposes I put one of my Communication Channels in error status and this error status is seen for example in Process Integration Monitoring on Solution Manager .
But I am not receiving any email notification and also there is no alerts in alert inbox for PI Mon Alerts. Why ?

Could you please provide more details about the error faced? What is the error message? What is the process being done when you are facing the error? Please provide screenshots.
Also let us know the steps you have tried (if any) from your end to overcome the messages.

Hope the below is what you have explained
For Yellow and Red - Mail Notifications are coming
For Red Only - No Mail Notifications.
What I can infer from the above is that the Threshold for Red has not been reached. So please check the Threshold maintained for Red.
