What i sRelease number in WE82 for the IDOC.

HI All,

While linking the message type and the idoc type , what is the release number in the WE82 transaction in gereral.

If I am preparing a new idoc type then what is the release number.Kindly explain. I am new for this topic.

Goto System menu select Status after open the window click on overview button it will shows all module release version.

Specify the current SAP Release Code in which the message type->idoc type assignment is done.

Your SAP release number is your release number in WE82
