Hi
When performing goods issue during consignment orders system is storing stock as special stock. When we see the goods issue material document system shows up the special stock indicator W along with the movement type.Where from this indicator is captured by the system? There is no special stock indicator maintained for the item category .Any Ideas???
Thanks
Sudheer
Hi Sudheer,
In consignment process we required to maintain the special stock indicator in 2 levels
1 is Consignment Issue --- item category KEN (Please check in VOV7). Movement Type: 633
2nd Consignment Return --- Item Category KRN... Movement Type: 634
By maintaining here only special stock indicator will determine.
And we need to maintain special stock partner SB in customer master partner function.
You have already said that it is not maintain. once again please check in the respective defined item category and revert if it is not maintained.

Hi
I agree but when initially doing consignment fill-up system takes up the stock with movement type 631 and then also the stock is maintained as special stock...in this case there is no special stock indicator in the item category KBN -consig. fillup. Then how come system is storing stock as special stock?
Also when doing returnable packaging system is using 621 movement type and special stock indicator v in goods issue doc. where from system is taking this indicator?
Thanks
Sudheer
"W" is maintained for mvt 631 in OMJJ.
When using this movement type system automatically carries out two postings:
- remove stock from storage location
- put stock into "W" special stock of special stock partner
I 'm not sure it (automatic triggering of two postings) is part of configuration...
E.g. if you post SLoc to SLoc posting via mvt 311 system also uses two bookings:
- remove stock from one storage location
- put stock into destination storage location
Movement type is same, but there are two postings with different signs.
