could not connect to host localhost on port 21200 (CE7.1 installation)

Hi,

I tried to install CE7.1 server setup in my local machine. I downloaded the dump from SDN. But while installing I got the error saying u201Cconnection to sapinst could not be established, could not connect to host localhost on port 21200u201D

Can anybody help me to resolve this issue? Or please tell me the steps to install proper dump.

Try to enter an extra hostname in the hosts file on the same line as localhost, so it looks as follows:

127.0.0.1 localhost testserver

Give as the installation hostname the testserver.

Did you check your PC firewall/antivirus?... Disable it and try again.
