Information Message is not trigerred in RFC

Hi All,

I have a requirement to display information message in FB01 tcode.

If the PAN is maintained for vendor should provide the information message with that PAN. I found the FM-FI_WT_DISPLAY_XWITH

and created enhancement. In that i wrote MESSAGE V_TEXT type 'I'. Even though control is going there but it is not diaplyed in screen.Only error message are coming.

I m using expense GL.

Can anyone help me to resolve this issue why information messages are not triggered.

Hi,

Where do you want to display this message type "I".

If in the targert system then it should work if not called in background.

In calling system , you can pass the message back using BALMI .

hello,

Try to give message by creating message class

for ex - message1001(zab). AB -> is a message class .

I have to disply that message in FB01 screen.i.e I will provide posting key as 31(for vendor) and GL amount screen comes once i enter the amount and press enter if the GL is tax relavent , I need to check for whether vendor has PAN if having display the message before simulate.

As I have done enhancement in standard FM will I be able to include message class which I create in top include?
