Incomplete archiving sessions

Hi Experts,

How to delete the "Incomplete archiving sessions" from SARA ?

the files was only written but not deleted as it contained errors.

Go to transaction SARA.

Object name : FI_DOCUMNT. Press Enter.

Select u2018Deleteu2019 button in SARA, Select Archiving Session and File for Deletion.Maintain Start data and Spool Parameters and then execute.

Check the entries for the Account number in table BFIT_A.No record is found. This means the Archived records are successfully removed from the database.

Select u2018Managementu2019 in SARA.It can be seen that now the Archived record comes under the status of u2018Complete Archiving Sessions

Thanks. I have already deleted the records with other archive write file.

What I would like to do is to delete the write file which contained errors. I do not want to process the file any more.

It shows are Incomplete archive session because I did not perform a delete function on it.

If the file was not moved to a repository it must be located on the transfer directory defined on OAC0.

Hi Juan,

Thanks, But I presume the write file has not been transferred. I only run the write action of the SARA tcode.

It just shows me incomplete archiving sessions.

Hi Joe,

To remove that Write file which contains Errors, Check with the Basis to remove the File from the File Directory .
