Experts,
I am back with another question on Forecast Consumption.
As I understand, forecast consumption is two step process
1. Forecast Consumption - Reducing the forecast qty for existing sales orders
2. Forecast Reduction - Reducing the forecast qty for completed sales order (orders which are shipped)
Now, in my case, we are having forecast of 1000 units in APO for Month of April. And we have created sales order for 500 units in ECC but integration model is not active so sales order will not go to APO and there will be no consumption. Now, with Integration Model deactivated, we have converted the sales order into delivery and posted the Goods Issue. Since integration model is inactive, there will not be any consumption in APO.
But now, when I activate the integration model, we want that forecast in APO should get reduced by shipped qty of 500. But this is not happening. I am seeing no withdrawn Qty in APO.
My questions:
1. Is this standard APO behavior? I doubt though. If we do not reduce the forecast then there will be additional demand in SC
2. Is there any configuration or settings or master data required to send the shipped qty detail to APO and forecast to be reduced by shipped qty when we activate the integration model
3. Has any one done any enhacement to address this issue?
4. Any SAP Note which points to same issue?
Any reply will be highly appreciated.
Thanks
