Hello!
For Account assigned purchase orders to WBS Element of project, the system flags as a committment line within the project reporting, the system has strong control over the ordered value against the planned value with the help of budget control on WBS element.
It is observed that a goods receipt done against purchase order with a higher exchange rate for foriegn currency purchase orders increases/decreases the stock value.
Based on this the cost of material issued to the project is higher and has no budget control at the time of actual cost posting.
Can anyone advice on this...how to bring budget control for exchange rate differences in MM

Budget check wont happen during GR...this is std SAP...refer Note 462 09 - No availability control for goods receipts
If you want budget check to happen during GR....then implement this Note 696362 - Exit: Availability control for valuated goods receipts

Hiiiii
Actually my question is not about budget check at the time of goods reciept....
My question was about behaviour of posting exchange rate differences at the time of making GR, i.e.;
A purchase order with foriegn currency EURO is created in the month of january when exchange rate was 5.13 SAR against 1 EURO
At the time of making GR (as there is no budget check) the system takes the current exchange rate which may be 5.25 in the month of march (the day goods were delivered to my warehouse)
The system is checking budget check at the time of posting goods issue which is exceeded by 0.12 EUR which is confusing the user and sometimes cant be matched by exact values.
So i was asking about a way to guide these values of exchange rate differences compared to excange rate in purchase order (As PO is subject to committment check) to a separate G/L which can be analysed time to time and may be is exempt by budget check.
Hope you could help me over this requirement.
