Hello dear Experts,

I have the need to understand the content of the EHP 1 for CRM 7.0 planned for release on June 2010 (in a couple of months).

Can anybody of you pintpoint me to the correct documentation? I need to understand the detailed point of intervention and new functionalities that will be provided by SAP in this new EHP1.

Thanks and regards,

Michele

You can expect something on:

1. Investigative case Management

2. Real-Time Offer Management

3. Collaborative Campaign Management

4. Loyalty Management - Custom Enhancements - Backend, Partnership Management, Membership Management etc.

5. CRM WebUI Technology - Integration to BOBJ / Xcelsius etc.

After release of the product, it is always easy to know from Service Marketplace shortcut /releaseguides

None to negligible other than bug fixes. But I am not 100% sure.

That would be very disappointing.

If there will continue to be requirements to keep and maintain two websites for our B2B customers, that would be a huge mistake.

B2B customers don't want to have to register every one of their requestors just so they can browse our B2B catalog, which is inaccessible without a login.

The only alternative is to go with the B2C 'B2B for Occasional Users' - After login, we want B2B customers to see 'their price' and availability, which is not possible with that package.

I just got something that I am not sure if I can post the link to SAPMats here or not that lead me to believe there are major changes to the Shop site options. Whether they deal with our issue above or not, I can not tell.

Hi Mike,

I understand your pain as customers always want a bit of B2C and B2B for their website.

The thing that gets me is how can a customer expect to see their price and their availability if they don't register and have a log on. Because this information drives delivery location and customer specific pricing. You can do this with B2C 'B2B for Occasional Users' with of course a bit of development effort. (agree it would be nice to be standard)

From what I have hear the web channel will have major improvements coming in EP1. It may be possible that your pain points are address from what I hear but then again best to wait and see for sure.

Cheers

Andrew

We are also interested in anything you or someone else might have in the way of timelines, documentation of what the enhancements will be.
