Hi,
I have a CR2008 report that has a group in it. The group header has 4 sub-sections (GH1a, GH1b, GH1c, GH1d) and I am experiencing difficulties keeping all visible sub-sections on the same page. What i'm finding is that GH1a-GH1c do fit but then GH1d is thrown to the next page. I have tried the Section Expert > Keep Together and the Group Expert > Options ... > Options > Keep Group Together settings, but neither seem to force the sub-sections to be printed on the same page. The volume of data in question will easily fit on one page (probably 2 or 3 times) so it's not that Crystal can't do it. The only thing that I can think of (but can't prove) is that the reason why GH1d is thrown is because it only contains a sub-report which is set to Can Grow. My current thinking is that Crystal gets confused by this and throws it thinking that it is more than one page in length and so doesn't try to fit the other sub-sections with it.
Can anyone else come up with a suggestion as to how I can fit them on one page (unfortunately the customer won't accept a page throw after each grouping)?
Thanks,
Mike
