Error in MM01 "Missing KZEFF checkbox"

I am trying to create a material, however upon pressing save, I get an error box that reads, "Missing KZEFF checkbox."

There is no documentation available with this error, or error title.

I am assuming someone practicing in the system has created some validation or check box parameter, because when I go into my existing Material Master and save it without even making any changes I am still getting that warning error.

Anybody have any ideas?

talk to your abaper. it may be a custom code implemented.
