SQL default database location

Hi,

I have the following problem:

- SQL 2005

- BPC v7.0.112

- Client development & test database server is running low on disk space (C: drive)

- For the time being I need to keep the existing appsets

- There is no space to add further appsets if database records are included in copy appset

- They have added an additional drive (E:)

- I need some advice as to how to best make use of the new drive

Questions

1) What are the consequences if I change the default database location in sql database server properties to point to the E: drive? What other things do I need to change?

2) What happens to existing database files on C:? Do they stay on C: or are they somehow moved to E: automatically?

3) I expect new appset database and log files should be fine and will sit on E:, is this an unsafe assumption?

4) What are the implications for analysis services and reporting services?

5) Other implications for BPC?

Apologies if the above is a bit of a brain dump

Many thanks
