Create a tcode and link it to a Personas flavor(gallery) that has links to multiple tcodes

Hi,

I have created a custom flavor which can navigate to multiple transactions. Since this flavor is on SMEN and is not actually a tcode, is there a way I can link this entire flavor to a tcode and use it on SAP GUI like how we do it for SAP GUI transactions on the command prompt? I want to access this directly without going to SMEN transaction. I know that this can be called using the URL, however I am not sure if this can be linked to a new custom tcode. I have attached the screenshot of my flavor for reference.

Thanks,

Pavan

Thank you for the quick response,Tamas. We copied them to a custom transaction and it worked. Totally agree with you that we can access the direct URL, just trying different options 🙂

I don't quite understand why do you need a different transaction code for this... what's wrong with SMEN?

Hi Tamas,

I have multiple flavors on SMEN transaction. Is there a way I can create individual tcodes for each of them?

A flavor is always exclusively linked to a single transaction, so no, you cannot create different transaction codes for SMEN flavors. You could copy them to some custom transaction that's the copy of the original, but I still don't see why doing that, when you can directly call SMEN with a specific flavor in the URL. So the use case is not clear to me...

If you really want your own transaction codes for SMEN, perhaps creating transaction variants could be a way to go - however I didn't try that for such a purpose and I'm not sure this is the right method to approach the problem you are facing.
