FSV and SAP BW Reports

sap-bw-report-and-ecc.jpg

Hi All,

I have Bex Queries 1. P&L, 2. Balance Sheet, 3. Cash Flow on virtual provider 0FILG_V10. I have loaded FSVs from ECC System to BW infoobect 0GLACCEXT.

At ECC side I can see hierarchy sub nodes but in BW Report itssap-bw-report-and-ecc.jpg missing. No restrictions at query level.

Please see the attachment for more details. Its urgent prompt response will be highly appreciated.

Thanks In Advance,

Asim

    Hi Asim,

Can you please check zero suppression is active in query once?I think that might be the reason.

one more thing expand hierarchy at highest level

    • Hi Ganesh Bothe,

Thanks for the reply. Zero suprression is not active in the query and also I have expanded hierarchy to highest level but still nodes are not coming.

      Regards,

      Asim.

    Hello Asim,

do you have transactional data on those nodes?

The standard setting in a query is to show only posted values - if there is no data on a node, the node will not be shown.

If you want to see all nodes int he hierarchy, no matter if there is something posted, go to the query, to the characteristic where the hierarchy is defined on, extended properties - set it to "show master data".

    • Hi Cornelia,

      Thanks for the reply.

Transaction data is there for those nodes and data is visible at virtual cube but not at report level. I have also followed SAP notes 801313, 963603 but still no luck. Please suggest.

      Best Regards,

      Asim.

    Hi All,

After selecting radio button "Only values from infoproviders" I'm able to see those nodes in Bex report but still values are not coming. Please let me know the BEX Query desinger settings for queries based on virtual provider.

    Regards,

    Asim

    • Hi Asim,

what objects are below the composite which hold the data? maybe you need to define the data as "reporting relevant" i.e. activating it in DSO ...

    Hi Cornelia,

I have adding GL account manually in hierarchy I am able to see the values but still problem with GL accounts which are used in both asset and liabilities side.

    For example:

GL Account 1234 in Asset values is 0 in ECC F.01

GL Account 1234 in Liabities value is 7000 in ECC F.01.

But in BW report its showing 7000 in both Asset and Liabities side which is wrong.

    Please suggest.

    Regards,

    Asim

    Hi Asim,

without seeing the data model, the hierarchy and the query settings and the report result it´s really hard now to guess.

So your account 1234 is defined as link node? are there any settings within the query for link nodes?

if data needs to be shown differently for asset / liabilities - isn´t this something that needs to be done with debit/credit indicator or something similar?

please compare your query to some FI content queries - this should show you some hints (FI is not what I do daily that´s why I can´t be more specific)

    regards

    Cornelia
