I am trying to find out which option is more efficient when entering a material description which is longer than the default length of 40 characters,
if you enter the Full Description via the "Long Text" in the Material Master, will it be pulled through when you print off a Sales Order, Purchase Order, Delivery Note, Production Order etc. I know that you can insert the full material description in the Basic Data Text, Sales Text, Purchasing Text..... but would using a "Long Text" cover all of these rather than having to insert the same information in three areas?
Also, Can you customize your screen to show the full (longer) material description as well aside from the 40-character description.
