Cost Element XXXXXX for CO area XX does not exist for XX.XX.XXXX (dates)

Hi

I am maintaining transaction OKB9 and getting the following error:

Cost Element XXXXXX for CO area XX does not exist for XX.XX.XXXX (dates)

The cost element 1010 has been created (via KA01)

The corresponding GL account is created.

How can i resolve the error and what is causing it? Please advice, much appreciated.

Other answers in the community involved errors were the cost element validity date was wrong (not in my case, it corresponding) or GL-cost element not consistent (not in my case either).

Hi,

Check in CSKB table that the cost element indeed exists for the dates in question. Pay attention to possible typos and/or leading zeros in the cost element.
