Automatic GL account assignment in movement type 201

Hi

I work in discount store retail industry.

We Keep inventory of consumable materials.

To sent each store or department requests we use movement type 201.

We want to GL account Assignment be automatic based on Each Material Group In connection with Plant.

What is the solution ?

Hi Elham,

Why don't you use the plant/valuation class combination on the material master instead? This is the way the GL is automatically determined in SAP in OBYC. All you need to do is to maintain correctly the material master. If you want to go down the material group/plant route, it needs to be done via substitution with custom code.
