I actually wanted to know, if we have these functionality in SAP HCM;

1. Transfer: Both within the Company & to another company code?

2. Separation: I've not come across so just checking if we have this functionality also in HCM ?

The answer could depend on the Country and the configuration of the different Companies in your system, but most often, an employee will have to be "terminated" in one Company and "hired" in the other one, since Year-to-Date data would be Company Specific (for Year-End Reporting).

Note that you could create a "Transfer Out" and a "Transfer In" actions for better HR Follow-up.

Transfer within the Company should be no problem, even if that involves a change in Personnel Sub-Area, Employee Group, Employee Sub-Group or Payroll Accounting Area. Note that if it also involves a change in Payroll Calendar (Pay Frequency, Pay Date, etc...), you will have to establish the sequence to follow (such as when to create the Reassignment Action in relation to Executing Payroll in the Old and the New Payroll Accounting Area).

IMPORTANT: The Transfer Action should be preceeded by the delimitation of all Quotas of the old ESG/PSA Groupings.
