Document splitting for Foreign Exchange clearing Transaction

Dear Experts,

Document splitting is active. in document splitting customisation in the step edit constants for non assigned process constant has been defined as zbp01 and assigned a segment value value BPSeg_00 is assigned. Where as there is no segments at all in this client. All the transactons are getting posted except for Foreign exchange clearing documents. There are no segements assigned against this . while posting the clearing documents/Receipt documents the system is checking the BPseg_00 segment and giving a message Segment BPSEG_00 not found, Message no. FAGL_ORG_UNITS002.

Any suggestions ,

Thanks in advance

Suresh AK

    Dear Suresh,

Where the system is unable to derive any profit centre/ segment even after document splitting, we define edit constants for non assigned process, In our case we defined the same in case of direct store delivery process where there would be a direct transfer of amount from 1 customer to the other(Driver--Van sales). If the segment has not been defined, you need to define it or else, create a relevant segment and assign it in the configuration.

    Thanks

    Aravind
