Hi all,

I created report which has sub report in crystal report 2011 in two different databases, I set Link between main report and its subreport, My report works fine in crystal report design but if I import it in SAP B1 9.2 PL10 I get error message while previewing "Cannot find parameter field Pm-Command.Name in subreport 12." I tried to do research but there is no answer I got. The parameter which has error is that the parameter found in subreport after doing link between main report and subreport.

Please anyone can help me to solve this issue

NOTE: and Parameter that begins with "PM-" is an internal Cr parameters, it's the name of the parameter CR assigner it as a Subreport link.

Since it can't be found the likely cause is the Database Client being used or the User doesn't have permissions to access that table, CR fully support Database security.

Try it a DB Admin account to see if you get the same error, if you do check the DB Clients, must be the same version when the report was designed and on the B1 Server.

Hi Rurangwa,

Make sure about the link between the subreport and the main report. You don't need the parameters FromDate and ToDate in your Subreports.

Frequently, the data in a subreport supplements the data in the primary report. You might, for example, have customer data in a primary report and then use subreports to show the orders for each customer. In such cases, you will need to coordinate the data in the primary report with the data in the subreport so that the orders in each subreport match up with the correct customer. To do this, you need to specify a field that is common to both the subreport and the primary report. With the Subreport Links dialog box, you create a link between the two common fields. Crystal Reports uses the link to match up records from the primary report to those in the subreport. The link makes certain that the “orders” data in the subreport sits on the same row as the corresponding “customer” data in the primary report. Keep reading for step by step details on Crystal Reports Linking Main Report data from Sub Report fields.

Hope this helps.

Thank you,

Hi Aziz,

I tried to do an addon of to display consolidated report of 5 different companies, it works fine. About crystal report, if I connect those sub reports to main report without date parameters it works but data of subreports is not correct, the date parameters are needed in subreports according to my queries

My queries have subqueries which need Date parameters.

I solved that issue by creating an addon which displays correct report

Thank you so much Aziz

Hi Aziz,

I have checked the issue but I do know how to solve it.

If Main report has one subreport it works fine in crystal report design and SAP B1, but if I add another subreport (second subreport) it only works fine in crystal report but not in SAP B1 where it displays error message Cannot find parameter field Pm-Command.Name in subreport NameHere

Main report has parameters FromDate and ToDate, Subreports have parameters FromDate, ToDate and Pm-Command.Name

How can I use more than one subreport in crystal report and SAP B1?
